Erik Buell’s electric motorcycle is now available at a special pre-order price with delivery expected end of 2024
Described by Fuell as an urban e-commuter the Flow isn’t so much the highway cruiser but more a compact and lightweight form of city transport.
Performance wise the Fllow has 47hp (35kW) and 553lb/ft (750Nm) of torque delivered via a rear wheel motor. It has a 10Kwh battery which provides 150 miles (241 kms) of range in an urban setting. Acceleration is a claimed 0 – 60 mph (97 km/h) in 3.5 seconds with a top speed of 85 mph (137 km/h)
Weight of the Fllow is 400lbs (181 kgs) which is 36lbs (16 kgs) less than the Livewire S2 Del Mar and a substantial 99lbs (45 kgs) less than the Zero SR/F. Storage is impressive with 50 litres where the fuel tank usually sits with the ability to fit a full-faced helmet and a laptop at the same time. Seat height is an accessible 30.1″ (765mm) and the bike is 2up friendly with grab handles on the rear of the seat and pillion pegs. . Suspension is provided with 40mm inverted front forks and a rear adjustable shock mounted on a single sided swingarm.
The Fuell Flow comes with a 750 watt on-board charger with the option to get a 3.3 kW or 6.6 kW charger. There’s also the option for a CCS Type 2 DC fast charger which makes use of public charging facilities and provides a full charge in 30 minutes or a 20 – 90% charge in just 15 mins while you grab a quick coffee.
Retail pricing of the Fuell Fllow is US$12,995 (€12,181) but if you pre-order the motorcycle via the Fuell website you get a $2300 (€2155) discount at $10,695 (€10,021). There are four colour options to choose from and you can pay in instalments or via a deposit with balance prior to delivery.
