With the release of the S2 Del Mar approaching LiveWire have confirmed their pricing for the US production model and the upcoming EU version.
The Limited Launch Edition of the Livewire Del Mar was announced in May 2022 for US$17,699 and sold out in just 18 minutes. At that time the anticipated target price for the production version was US$15,000. That price target increased as we approached the end of 2022 but LiveWire have managed to claw that price back closer to the original.
- USA: $15,499 (equates to €13,966 or £12,464)
- France: €20,190
- Germany: €19,990
- Netherlands: €20,390
- U.K.: £18,990
Full specs are still to come but we do know the S2 Del Mar will have a power rating of around 80 hp (60 kW) and a city range of approximately 100 miles (160 km). Acceleration on the S2 Del Mar is a 0-60 mph time of around 3.1 seconds, with an expected battery size of 9-10 kWh.
Reservations of the European version of the S2 Del Mar Launch Edition will commence at 4 pm CET on April 27 with a reserve cost of €100. With only 100 of these bikes available in the European Launch Edition buyers will need to be ready with their mouse or touchpad.
Deliveries of the LiveWire S2 Del Mar are expected to begin in the US in July.
