VMoto is part of the Super Soco brand offering larger and more premium motorcycles to the European and American market. The Stash is their first electric motorcycle with modern, sports bike styling.
Power comes from a 6kW motor (around 8hp) which is equivalent to a 100-125cc traditional motorcycle. This provides a top speed of 65 mph (105 km/h) and a range of approximately 149 to 161 miles (240 to 260 kms). The range is based on city or urban riding where your speed averages around 28 mph (45 km/h), hit the highways and range will decrease dramatically. Charge time is six hours via a removable battery for easy office charging.
Seat height is a pleasant 31″ (787mm) so will suit most rider heights and weight is kept to a low 105kgs (232 lbs). There’s also a handy storage area for your helmet in the faux pas fuel tank up front.
Firmly aimed at the commuter and new rider market, the VMoto is a good combination of sharp, modern lines with decent functionality and storage. The VMoto Stash will have three colours to choose from; black, yellow, and silver. We are waiting on pricing and availability information which should be forthcoming in the next few months.
